Pastor Jay Armstrong has a business degree from New Mexico State University where he met his lovely bride, Laura. Together they moved To Durham, North Carolina where Pastor Jay attended the Duke University School of Divinity. Together Jay and Laura raised two children, who have now given them five grandchildren with one more on the way.
Pastor Jay has served churches throughout New Mexico but spent most of his years in ministry in central New Mexico. Most recently before coming to Aztec Methodist he had been serving as an Intentional Interim pastor helping churches to navigate bumpy roads and aiding them in recapturing a vision for the future.
With Laura working in the Four Corners area Pastor Jay decided to locate in the Four Corners area and accepted the opportunity to ministry through Aztec Methodist Church.
Laura Armstrong, our Worship Director, helps all of us present to lift our voices in song, whether they are old or new ones. She brings vitality to our Worship Services.
