Christ in Heaven
Luke makes it very clear that Christ dwells primarily at the right hand of God. For forty days He made periodic appearances to the disciples to give them proof that resurrection was a real physical event. He was not just a Ghost. He would continue to appear to people such as Saul on the road to Damascus, but that was a private audience, the various accounts make it clear that only Saul could see and hear the words. But Christ continues to operate in another mode of existence from which He works and moves in all the world among his followers.
Confession
Lord Jesus, You continue to be with us in Spirit, though we rarely have visions of You. We know of Your presence in our hearts, but sometimes we allow ourselves to forget that Your love and Your life continue beyond our everyday existence. We forget that You have taken back the powers You surrendered when You dwelt among us. We try to limit You to our worship times, forgetting Your promise to be with us always. Forgive us, and enable us to be more aware of Your presence.
